Dr. B.Ramesh is B.E. Mechanical, M.B.A (Finance), M.S. (Manufacturing Management) from BITS, Pilani and Ph.D in Management BIT, Mesra, Ranchi. He is having an industrial experience of over 29 years and specialized himself in Automotive Trailer Design, Manufacturing, Application Engineering and Logistics. He is also the member in BIS TED 22 Committee and Convenor for AIS 091 and 092 standards.
Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law from Utkal University. After a brief stint as an Advocate, he joined Tata Steel in 1988. He also completed GDMM from IIMM and PGDM from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. he has also obtained CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) from ISM, USA. He is a Research Scholar and pursuing his Ph.D in Supply Chain Management in Vels University, Chennai since 2016. He is Certified Trainer for MLS- SCM form ITC, Geneva. He has overall industrial experience of more than 34 years. Present assignment is General Manager – Projects and Procurement in Alliance GraniMarmo Pvt Ltd and leading various construction (finishing) projects in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
B.E (Mechanical), MBA – SCM. He was held Materials – Purchase positions in Rane Brakes, Sundaram Fasteners Limited, Sundaram Brakes, Simpson & Co. Ltd. Currently Assistant General Manager - Supply Chain, Super Auto Forge Pvt Ltd, Chennai
Electrical Engineer, MBA and PhD in Project Management. He is a qualified charted engineer, he additionally holds QPMP from IPMA, UBP from NITIE, CPM & PMA Certifications from GW University and a BVC certified IMS lead auditor. He worked with English Electric, GEC Alstom, ABB Ltd, Areva T&D @ GE in senior positions. He has been in Transmission & Distribution Projects business industry for the past 30 plus years holding various key professional positions including P & L. Presently working as President and responsible for T & D Turnkey Projects Business and operations in W S Industries India Ltd, Chennai.
