As an institution registered under societies act , Indian Institute of Materials Management Branches conduct their Annual General Meeting as per the by-laws enunciated by the Charter, every year.
All subscribed Members, as of the given date (not later than August 31st of every year) are intimated about the impending AGM and requested to participate in the deliberations.
AGM is conducted under the chairmanship of the Branch Chairman and business transacted as per the provisions . Mainly Financial Accounts and results are submitted for approval from the members.
All senior members attend the AGM as special invitees. A road map is drawn for the subsequent year's activities based on the memebers suggestions.
Coming together is happiness – Getting together is Success. IIMM Chennai Branch has understood the power of getting together and makes a conscious effort to bring all the members along with their families for an entertaining get together. The annual event is conducted on a convenient date & location for all the members to participate with their families.
Eminent speakers are called to deliver the speech which would be of interest to the member's families including children. Some entertainment program like Magic, Dance ,Humor session, suitable to the occasion is also planned. The entertainment program followed by a delicious dinner provides opportunity to members and their families to know each other and the social Bonding is strengthened.
